Pure Perspective Pleasure

Fun with perspective!  I've always dreaded perspective.  Don't know why, really.  I've taken so many courses and I've done so many perspective drawings that one might think I actually enjoy it.  Not so much, but I that doesn't mean I can't.  Hope you enjoy these from my sketchbook!  Sketch yah later.

End of semester sketch dump!

So it is that time of the year once again.  A time when students cram for finals and rush to print out final projects on premium paper.  For once... it's not me!  Instead I'm on the other end, awaiting presentations and giving the grades.  Hah.  Anyway, sorry for the rant.  Somehow I managed to finish and fill a 9x12 moleskin sketchbook!  Something I've never done before.  Hope you enjoy a few sample pages.  Sketch yah later.

My Favorite 30 Marvel Characters

My true inspiration to become an artist - comic books.  Specifically, Marvel Comics.  Over the years their characters have gone through some major facelifts, while other characters have remained the same.  I humbly share my interpretations of my favoarite Marvel Comics characters.  Below are 12 of my 30 favorite characters.  The remaining 18 are coming soon!  I promise.  Sketch yah later.

I'm Still Hereee...

So it's been a long-ass time since I last posted.  Needless to say I've been busy - new job, new workload... new students to instruct!  Yikes.  Anyway, here is a sneak peek of a personal project I'm working on.  Hopefully I'll have the full 30 characters done by the end of the month.  Key word  here is "hopefully".  Enjoy for now.  Sketch yah later!

Yet Another Character Series

So I have this concept thatʻs been ah-brewing.  A secret guild of assassins known as "The Mysters".  Everyday people, holding everyday, blue-collar jobs; yet, highly skilled in the art of wielding silent, sometimes bloody, deaths.  Hereʻs my initial take at the lead of The Mysters.  This is Myster Nice Guy.
