30 Day Monster Challenge Thingy

So I discovered a cool take on the common challenge of drawing a character a day.  It's simply a "30 Day Monster Challenge".  I first caught wind of this challenge on one of my old grad school classmate's blog.  Needless to say he's pretty fantastic at art and also a few weeks into the challenge.

Not sure if the requirements are to make them all female inspired, but thought I'd go with it.  Let me know if anyone's interested in the list and I'll send it your way.

Space Explorers...

Working on some new characters and a story arc for them.  The story evovles around main character Rook and his crew.  Three other explorer factions will be in the story as well.

My goodness!  It's been a quick minute since I've posted anything new.  Needless to say I've been swamped at work and still adjusting to living back in California.  I promise to start sharing new sketches regularly (I know, we've all heard promises like that before).  But like a recent web-slinging hero said about making promises one can't keep - those are the best ones to make.  Here is one huge sketch-dump in the mean time....
